Weldable brackets are not bonded — they are welded to a band. Their geometry therefore has to be accurate at the micron level: if the slot drifts, the whole force system drifts with it.
Leone machines them with a mechanical micro-machining process, to a general tolerance below 3/100 mm. The under-edges of the tie wings are rounded, a detail the patient feels every day.
The range covers .018″ and .022″ slots, torque from 0° to −22° and angulation up to +22°, and is recommended for Andrews and Ricketts systems.
All Leone brackets can be prewelded to a CALIBRA® or WEB band — the service is free.
