Weldable accessories are the small parts that separate an appliance that works from one that comes apart. All of them are welded or crimped; none is bonded.
Lingual seating lugs (G2850-00) help the band seat. Lingual cleats come in high profile (G2820-00), for molars (G2824-00) and for cuspids and bicuspids (G2822-00). Elastic lugs are flat for anteriors (G2890-00) and curved for posteriors (G2893-00). The eyelet (G2810-00) is a twist-on attachment for ligatures.
Lingual buttons cover three positions: flat for centring on molars (G2860-00), curved for mesial placement (G2865-00) and deep curved for bicuspids (G2870-00).
The crimpable closed hook G9019-25 is intended for the STEP technique: it is placed on a .019″ × .025″ archwire in extra spring hard or super hard heat-treated stainless steel, and crimped with a large cutter or P1911-00 pliers.
MIM® surgical hooks (G9620, G9650) are for intermaxillary post-surgical fixation and traction, with rounded edges and easy placement with P1911-00 pliers.
The crimpable arch stop can be fitted without removing the archwire — it is crimped with a heavy cutter or universal pliers. It is also recommended for use with coil springs.
